The Department of Internal Medicine offers:

1. Diagnosis and treatment of patients hospitalized due to diseases of internal organs;
2. Verification and management of difficult-to-diagnose cases;
3. Intensive care and treatment of post-resuscitation patients; Cardio-respiratory rehabilitation/adaptation after artificial ventilation;
4. Peri- and postoperative assessment, management of patients, risk assessment, prevention and treatment of complications of respiratory and other systems.

The Department of Internal Medicine includes an intensive care unit, therapeutic wards and an outpatient department. The department is the most important integrated part of the S. Khechinashvili University Clinic, the main mission of which is the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of internal organs in adults.

The department provides patient admission, diagnostics, and treatment, both on an outpatient and inpatient basis, 24 hours a day.
